At Sugar Cube Corner, Pinkie Pie's room, Pinkie Pie's party is about half-an-hour in when Crakin' Lightnin' and Wild Card walk in.
"I-I still don't know like...what to say to her or anything or even if she'd be interested..." Wild Card muttered to himself, stopping in place. "M-maybe coming here wasn't such a good idea..."
"You'll never know if you don't try dude." Lightnin' replied.
Wild Card lowered his head. "I guess..." Wild Card raised his read, but then raised his eyebrow. "Um, dude...that rainbow one is staring at us..."
Lightnin' turned his head to see the glaring Rainbow Dash across the room, who wore a suspecting expression. "Huh...she sure is." Lightnin' replied in a low volume.
Twilight walked over to Rainbow Dash. "Hey Dash...um, hey why're you glaring over at...?" Twilight asked as she treid to look at where Dash was looking.
Dash turned her head. "Oh, I'm just makin' sure specs over there doesn't try anything funny." Dash replied.
Twilight grew a confused look as she looked over at Wild Card. "Um...Dash he may have been one of the elements of chaos before, but now he's-"
"NO, he acts strange..." Dash interupted. "He hangs around this place on a daily basis, he's gonna pull somethin'." Dash stated as she looked back to the maroon colt.
Twilight's confused look changed to one of curiosity. "Hangs around here on a daily basis huh...?" Twilight looked at Wild Card, then looked over at where WIld card was looking, which was over at Pinkie Pie. "Hmmmmm...Dash I don't think he's up to anything...I just think he might have a thing for Pinkie..."
"EXACTLY, who knows what he's planning to do to her." Dash vigorously uttered with much concern.
Twilight thought for a moment with an un-easy look. "Maybe...ask her out?"
Dash inhailed preparing to quickly utter another worried statement, but stopped as Twilight's words sunk in. "...huh?" Dash expressed in confusion.
Twilight grew a sincere smile. "Maybe Wild Card just...you know, has a crush on Pinkie?" Tiwlight suggested. "And maybe he's just acting all jittery because he's shy."
Dash sat with a blank expression as she processed Twilight's words, a brief moment later. "Oh..." Dash uttered unsure of how to feel.
Twilight's eyes widened in realisation upon not recieving the expected answer. "Oh..." Twilight pondered for a moment. "Well...maybe you could get a better idea...if you helped Wildcard with Pinkie?" Twilight suggested. "Love isn't like learning a skill...it's something you feel in your heart." Twilight added with an encouraging smile.
Dash thought for a moment, glancing over at Wildcard she let out a sigh of defeat. "Alright alright...but I'm only helping him out because I like...owe him and stuff for...y-you know!" With that Dash flew off with a determined yet uneasy look.
"I'm sure she'll find it...some day." Twilight thought to herself.
Lightnin' noticed the quickly aproaching cyan mare. "Guess she got tired of glaring, she's on her way over Wild Card."
Dash then skidded to a halt in front of the two colts. "So you've got a crush on Pinkie." Dash stated rapidly still with a determined look, Lightnin' raised a brow before looking to Wild Card.
Wild Card backed off. "Wh-what makes you say that?" He asked, still keeping his eyes on Pinkie, looking behind Dash.
"Er...shall we take this outside?" Lightnin' suggested.
The three of them walked outside Sugar Cube Corner, the sun starting to set in the distance.
"Anypony with eyes can see that." Dash replied to Lightnin's last statement.
"So you don't agree with it?" Lightnin' enquired.
"No...I'm, I'm here to help." Dash stated.
"By letting the whole party know?" Lightnin' rebutted.
Wild Card looked confused. "You...wanna help...?"
    "Well er...yeah." Dash replied.
    "...why though?" Lightnin' asked.
"You want help or not!?" Dash exclaimed.
Wild Card grew an almost ecstatic smile. "Hey it doesn't matter why, 's long as she wants to help that's awesome!"
"Fair enough." Lightnin' stated with a shrug.
Wild Card started counting. "So...oh! We haven't really been introduced have we? I'm Wild Card..." Wild Card rubbe dthe back of his neck. "Um...and you're...?"
"Name's Rainbow Dash, what er...Lightnin' here didn't tell you about me?"
"Er...whoops?" Lightnin' replied with a confused expression.
Wild Card shook his head. "Well it doesn't matter know...so Rainbow Dash, you have any idea about...well for a start, yeah you hit the nail on the head about my feelings for..." Wild Card let out a sweet sigh. "Pinkie...so any ideas on how we can get her to...well for a start, notice me?"
"Well er...what was your plan?" Dash asked.
Wild Card looked to the side in shame. "Well I...thought I could just talk to her for a start..."
"How else can ya start." Lightnin' added.
"Well she's pretty unpredictable...and it's hard to hold her attention." Dash replied.
The three of them began chatting on how they could get Pinkie to notice Wildcard.
Meanwhile back in Canterlot at the castle, Princess Luna looks out the window, smiling as she sees her son walk into the castle gardens.
Suddenly the door behind luna opened as a pale yellow pony with a black mane and blue eyes walked in, his cutie mark a pair of drama masks. "Ahhh, Princess Luna, I heard you had just found your son recently, wonderful news I must say, but I hear you...need some advice on parenting."
"Ah, Tom Flanks, good of you to arrive so hastely, and yes I am in need of...such wisdom." Luna replied, turning to face the stallion.
Tom Flanks began to trot over. "Not to worry your highness, a colt at his age should be no trouble looking after...just needs some room...I mean, like marriage, never force him or even bring up say, him getting into a relationship anytime soon or he may just do so only to make you happy..."
Luna gasped. "But I, oh dear..." She looked out the window once more, seeing her son between two mares wearing a wry expression. "I told him too soon...and now he can't decide." Luna uttered in a solem tone.
Tom Flanks tutted. "Tsk tsk...your majesty, it seems you're caught in a slight problem...hmmmm..." Tom looked out at Goldheart. "...perhaps, if we gave him room to breathe...or maybe...let him find true love but obviously this isn't something we can tell him straight..." Tom Flanks began to walk out. "What I propose you do, your highness, is hold a...celebration of sorts, and on the posters, leaflets and such, we say it's to celebrate the return of your son...not to mention, say that he's single...this way we get every young mare in Equestria who's looking for love...to gather here...then your son will get to choose..."
"I..." Luna turned to reply but Tom was already out of sight, she simply wanted to disregard the proposal, but began to consider it. "Perhaps that could work...but surely Goldheart will be in good hooves whichever one he decides...they are each an element of harmony...I will have to give it more thought later." Luna took off to prepare for her duty of raising the moon.
Meanwhile out in the courtyard, we see why Goldheart was showing such a wry look.
"What is...your favourite colour?" Rarity asked.
Goldheart rubbed the back of his neck. "F-favourite colour now?" Goldheart thought for about a second or two, before a calm smile fell upon his face. "...white...it reminds me of those lonely nights as a colt...I'd just sit on the rooftops and just stare up at the moon...so pure and beautiful..." Goldheart blushed. "I-I guess that's one of the many reasons I find you so b-beautiful...Rarity..."
Rarity's expression lit up, her heart soared as she almost cheered, but stopped herself upon seeing Fluttershy's ears droop and her head lower. "Well um...what's your favourite animal?" Rarity asked, knowing there was no answer that would disapoint Fluttershy.
Goldheart's blush left his face. "Um...well rabbits I guess, they're soft, white...small and cuddly..."
Goldheart's statement had the opposite effect on Fluttershy this time, as her spirits raised and she couldn't help but grin ear to ear, then a question came Fluttershy's mind. "So Goldheart...what's your favourite type of mare?" Fluttershy asked, which caused her to blush slightly.
Goldheart once again fell into thought, as he came to aconclusion he too blushed slightly. "T-to be honest...t-the s-shy and gentle...t-type...l-like you...F-Flutter...shy..."
Fluttershy's heart skipped a beat, made ecstatic by Goldheart's words, Rarity still breath taken by being compared to the beauty of the moon.
Goldheart looked over at the few rays of sunlight left by the sun. "...it's getting dark, we should get inside where it's warm." Goldheart suggested, smiling back at the two.
Both a little out of it replied. "Mm Hm."
