"Let's see if you like this...I summon Absolute Crusader in attack mode!" 1800 Attack.
"Next up, I tune Unknown Synchron and Absolute Crusader to synchro summon...X-Saber Wayne!" 2100 Attack.
"Thanks to his effect, I can special summon a level 4 or lower Warrior from my hand...so I'll bring out Comrade Swordsman of Landstar!"
"Planning to bring out a level 8 monster too hmmmm?" Jardin asked. Yu smirked. "Yeah, right...all I'm planning is to kick your oversized weed back in the dirt...with this trap: Fiery Fervor! Thanks to this hot shot, Wayne's attack's gonna skyrocket once he attacks your fly trap! So, take out the trash, Wayne! Gunblade Barrage!" 4700 Attack. Jardin was almost sent off his feat as Chevalier was destroyed. 2000 LP.
"Tch...like this will stop me jeune." "
Nah...but hit number two's coming up. Comrade Landstar, direct attack! Landstar Slash!" 900 Attack. Yu looked back at the one card left in his hand.
"I'll slap this one down and call it a turn."
"Draw!...first I activate my trap: Call of the Haunted to bring back Sorciere de Fleur!" 2900 Attack. Yu let out a sigh.
"That old weed again?"
"Then his effect activates, I'll bring back the Gearfried in your grave! But he won't be around long, because I summon A/D changer and tune him with Gearfired, come Armoury Arm and equip yourself to Sorciere de Fleur!" 3900 Attack. Kou cringed.
"Yu I hope your face-down is good, 'cause if he takes out your Landstar now you're done!"
"Exactly Naruki-jeune, now watch, as this will be you next, Sorciere de Fleur! Take out his Swordsman, Fleur de Imploser!" Yu smirked.
"Yeah, like that'll happen. I activate the trap card...Compulsory Evacuation Device! Can't snip that weed, so I'll pluck it out of the ground!" Jardin gave Yu a disgusted look as Sorciere returned to his hand.
"I'll set one card and end my turn..." Kou smiled brightly.
"Time to end this dude?" Yu made a thumbs up.
"Yep, so let's start this off! First I activate Pot of Greed, drawing two cards! Then I tune Wayne with Comrade Swordsman to synchro summon the biggest Warrior you'll ever see...Colossal Fighter!" Jardin barely cringed.
"So? 2800 Attack is n-nothing before me..." Kou looked over at Yu with a huge grin.
"You wanna tell him?" "Yeah, about that...Colossal Fighter's got a little trick. Essentially...he gains 100 attack for every Warrior in any Graveyards, meaning your's and mine." "B-but that means..." 3400 Attack. Jardin suddenly got a hold of himself.
"D-doesn't matter, with  A/D changer in the grave and my face-down guarenteed to destroy your monster you can't get to me!"
"Before you spill the beans on where you hid Tacey, I think I'll be nice...and play this. Pot of Benevolence. With that, I can choose a couple cards in the grave and put them back in their owner's decks. So, being a nice guy, you can take back...oh...that A/D Changer and...why not that knight with the flower top?" 3200 Attack.
"Tch...s-still my face-down-"
"Well, one thing left to do. Colossal Fighter, scrap that gardener! Colossal Colider!"
"Trap activate! Mirror Force! Got you now jeune!" Yu shook his head.
"It's over man...I activate the effect of Craftsman of Landstar from my hand! By sending him to the graveyard, all my warrior type monsters can't be destroyed by card effects!" "WHAT!?" Suddenly Craftsman of Landstar built a wooden barricade at the speed of light, protecting Collosal Fighter from the blast. Yu looked at Jardin with disdain.
"I ain't a bully, so I won't rub it in, but hey...that's how duels go. Colossal Fighter, show that loser how we kick it ADAD style! Colossal Colider!"
"Impossible!" Jardin hit the floor after being slammed by Colossal Fighter. 0 LP.
Kou and Yu walked over as the holograms disipated. Yu let out a sigh of relief before looking back at Jardin. "Alright, Mr. Green Thumb. What'cha do to Tacey? Where is she?"
"H-help!" Came Tacey's voice from above. Yu looked up in confusion.
"What the?"
"She's just hanging around..." Kou stated before pointing up to Tacey hanging up by a rope in the nearby tree. A few minutes later, after Tacey is brought down and Jardin is the one tied up, to the tree trunk to be specific.
"You all right Tacey-chan?" Kou asked. Tacey was on her knees, breathing hard.
"That was...scary. Thanks a lot...Yu...Kou..." Yu reached in his pocket. "Here. Got something for you, Tace. A gift from everyone in ADAD." Kou looked down at Jardin for a moment before looking back to Yu.
"You wanna continue your chat elsewhere? I need to get some info outta this guy..." Yu handed Tacey his free hand.
"All right, princess. Let's get you a soda." Yu looked back to Kou.
"You sure you can handle that guy by yourself? I can still rough him up if you want."
"C'mon you know that's not how we handle things..." Kou replied in a dissapointed tone, rubbing the back of his head. Tacey pushed Yu forward.
"Come on, dimwit..." Yu walked off.
"Hey! Ow! I was just joking...jeez! Stop pushing!" As Tacey and Yu left, Kou bent down to look Jardin in the eyes.
"You really expect to get me to talk Naruki Kou?" Kou shook his head, before producing a feather.
"No Jardin-san, I expect you to laugh." Jardin had a sweat-drop go down his face.

Minutes later back at the White dorm, Tacey was sitting down at the soda bar, while Yu placed the deck on the counter.
"Like I said before we left...here's a gift from all of ADAD." Tacey looked back at Yu.
"Isn't that just my deck?" Tacey replied, still a bit mad at Yu's bad 'joke'.
"Just look at it, all right?" Yu replied before taking a drink from his glass.
Tacey grabbed the deck, shuffled it, then drew an opening hand.
"Let's see...huh? Those aren't my...hey, wait...what did you guys do to my deck?" Yu shrugged.
"Just a little something to keep you from freaking out. I wasn't too fond of that 'weird uncle that smells like salsa' joke...I mean, I actually have an uncle like that..." Yu added, looking slightly embarrassed. Tacey looked at the card in question, then let out a giggle as Yu relaxed.
"There you go. That's what I want to hear!" Tacey drew the next card, looking shocked. "Wha...Night-End...?" Tacey asked, her tone sounding as if she had just found an old friend.
"Yeah...the first one looked ragged, so Kou got that for ya. Where'd you get that card, anyways?" Tacey drew another card.
"Huh? Assault Mode?" Yu snapped his fingers.
"My bad. THAT's the card that Kou got you. Guess I got mixed up..." Tacey looked back at Night End's Sorcerer.
"Well...I actually got that card from a friend back when I was still in elementary school. He's the one who actually taught me to duel. When that...Dahak, came over, that card was the only one I was able to save..." Yu scratched his head, not sure what to say.
"So...yeah...um...what was that guy's name? The one who taught you to play?" Tacey looked at Yu with a serious expression painted on her face.
"His name's Yuri." Yu scratched his temple.
"Yuri...Yuri...I swear I heard that name before..."
"Yo, figured out where that guy comes from!" Kou shouted over, walking over to the two from the entrance. Yu turned to look at Kou, while Tacey simply looked up.
"So, who's Mister Green's boss?" Yu asked.
"Some dude named Rodrick Harris, apparently he runs the group inside White that's running this side of the war, making it hard for Kasejima-senpai...thing is before I could leave, the guy started laughing...saying 'I left the dorm with that girl on my shoulder and nobody cared. You're in way over your heads if you think you can take down Clean White'...so guys, for the sake of your safety..." Kou rubbed the back of his head, sounding as if what he was about to say might kill someone. Yu folded his arms, while Tacey look worried.
"...well?" Yu asked, not sure if he should take the whole thing seriously.
"I thought this would be fun, getting a group together and making duelists realise greed and dueling don't mix but...if people...friends, are gonna get hurt then..."
"Kou-sama, I don't wanna let you do this alone!" Etsuko suddenly shouted from behind Kou. "You seem to always be putting your own sake before everyone else...just like back then...but that doesn't mean we won't risk ourselves for you!" Yu unfolded his arms.
"Etsuko's right, ain't no way you're doing this without us!" Tacey grabbed her deck and got up.
"I owe it to you guys...so I'm gonna have to pull my own weight, too!"
"You guys..." Kou was speechless. Tacey looked back at Kou.
"Look...I know your Fiend cards still scare me...but I want to get over my fear. And right now, you're as much a friend as Yuri was to me back when I was a kid. And besides...what would the group do if you're not around? You're the founding member of ADAD...that means everyone will be after you...let us all help...all right?" Yu looked surprised at Tacey's words.
"Uh...yeah. Like she said. Can't win a war with just one guy, right?"  Kou had a smile carved on his face, but suddenly it turned into a puzzled look.
"Wait...Yuri...?"
