Meanwhile, Xia is spying on the group.
"Yuri...Yuri...I think that chick from the purple dorm knew a guy named Yuri once..." Kou stated. Yu folded his arms.
"Think she'd be interested to talk?"
"Probably not...it's not exactly a comfy subject for her...hey Tacey you mind telling us more about 'your' Yuri?" Kou asked. Tacey looked back at the two.
"Well...I met him back when I started elementary school...back when I was six, he's the one who first showed me how to duel. Back then, he was really nice...I guess you could say he was like a 'big brother' to me." Tacey said, sounding nostalgic.
"When I was disagnosed with leukemia, he actually came by almost everyday...well...for the first year of the treatment. During the second, he would send me postcards...from here." Etsuko looked confused.
"So...he was a student here?" Yu shrugged.
"Seems like it. Sounds like he could be the 'everyone's best friend' kinda guy." Tacey looked down for a moment.
"You could say that...but, other students picked on him because he would stand up to them if they picked on me." Yu scratched the back of his head.
"So, he's been nice to you all that time, then no news from him? That's a little weird, don't you think?"
"It seems we both share a common interest." Came Xia's voice from behind the group. Tacey and Etsuko turned around, while Yu just cocked his head to look, Kou however didn't bother, he talked to her while facing the same direction.
"So...it's the same Yuri huh?" Yu held up his hand.
"Alright...beat that and rewind it right back...what's going on here?" Xia looked over to Tacey.
"It seems she and I both knew Yuri... at different times." Tacey looked surprised.
"You...you really knew him? Well, where is he?" Xia shook her head.
"I wish I knew. After what happened with the Blue dorm incident, he just left..." Kou turned around with a smile.
"Tell ya what, as soon as we're done with this war business, how about we ask the principle? He's sure to know." Yu nodded.
"I'm up for that. Maybe some of those White jackets like that green-thumb duelist knows what happened to 'im." Tacey looked worried.
"Yuri..." Kou placed his hand on Tacey's shoulder while giving her a bright smile.
"Don't worry, I'm sure he's more than okay." Xia walked over to Tacey.
"You probably should concentrate on getting by that fear of yours. The one duelist who beat him played the very type you fear so much!" Kou turned to Xia.
"Wow, so you're gonna join the main team Xia-chan?" Xia looked back at Tacey.
"We do have a common interest, and Yuri did tell me to try and hold the fort...but, I would like to settle on one condition."
"And that would be?" Kou asked. Xia opened a card holder box and grabbed a set of cards.
"If she can use these cards in a duel...I will consider." Xia turned the cards as if she opened a fan. Tacey took a quick look at the cards, then grew nervous.
"I had a talk with Jack Ham after my defeat. He did tell me about how Tacey, who beat him without synchro summon, was unable herself to summon the one card that could have won that duel...and remembering her fear of Fiend cards, Kou, I came up with a theory: either she had the Psychic Archfiends and Ultimate Axon Kicker and was too scared to use them...or she lied about having Fusions." Etsuko looked down.
"...so I didn't really win huh...?" Xia showed the cards to the group: Thought Ruler Archfiend, Ultimate Axon Kicker and Overmind Archfiend.
"So, which is it?" Kou gave a wry smile.
"Ultimate Axon Kicker...she could've beat Etsuko if she used Miracle Synchro Fusion at the time..." Tacey looked towards Etsuko apologetically.
"You did win..." Tacey stated, her tone heavy.Etsuko shook her head.
"If you could've won, then I don't want it to be my win..."  Yu looked back at Tacey.
"Wait...seriously? You never had that card?" Tacey sat down.
"Looking at that synchro fusion...I don't know...it just reminds me of when I lost that deck Yuri helped me make, back when I was in treatment." Xia looked troubled for a moment. "That deck...was it burned down?" Tacey shook her head.
"No...the one who destroyed my deck...Yuri's deck, tossed it in the sewers...why?" Xia let out a sigh.
"Yuri's deck...was burned to ashes." Tacey gasped, while Yu and Etsuko looked shocked.
"Say wha-!? Who's the asshole who did that?" Yu shouted, his blood starting to boil.
"Yu-kun, calm down..." Kou replied. Tacey looked back at Yu.
"All I remember was his deck...Dark World...all sorts of Archfiends..." Kou turned to Xia.
"Is Dahak still here at the academia?" Xia looked worried.
"He's a third year student...I can't be sure, but I heard he has ties in both the Black and White dorms..." Yu folded his arms.
"Knowing the odds...it sounds like he's the bossman of one of those dorms."
"Hmmmm...well we can't stop now, whether you're with us or not Xia-chan, we're gonna take out the 'pure white' organisation next!"
"Ah, there you are Kou-kun." Kasejima's voice came over from the entrance.
"You're easy to find through your loud voice." "Kasejima-senpai, sorry I forgot we were meant to meet you back at white...heh-heh..." Kou rubbed the back of his head in embaressment as Kasejima walked over.
"...ah, Xia-san, I take it the purple dorm has also met the hands of A.D.A.D.?" Kasejima chuckled lightly.
"We do have a common interest..." Xia replied.
"Y-yeah right, Kou-sama beat you and that big guy fair and square!" Etsuko snapped at Xia. Xia started coldly at Etsuko.
"Quiet, you!" Kasejima light chuckle turned into laughter.
"I take it 'big guy' is Tsuko-san? How is he by the way?"
Xia looked back at Kasejima. "He's...a little sore. I think his ego was too big for him."
Kasejima just smiled, calming herself down.
"Well knowing him, he won't stay down for long...now Naruki-kun, about 'pure white'..." Kasejima's smile melted into a serious look.
"Pure white, is an organisation made by Rodrick Harris...he didn't like it when I said the White dorm won't participate in the Dorm Wars anymore when the principle made me dorm representative...so he banded together the white duelists who still wanted to partake in the war and they have meetings every now and then, giving missions to certain duelists..." Yu brought a hand to his face.
"Perfect...White-dorm terrorists..."
"As how you will take them out...I have no idea..." Kasejima was surpised to be met by Kou's almost-idiotic grin.
"So? That Rodrick has to be in the dorm somewhere right? We'll just find him, and take out him and his lackeys!"
