Yu-Gi-Oh: P.O.D: Part 28

Dahak is stood on the main building of duel academia, the huge black roof, staring back at the black dorm.
"Fools...weaklings...all of them." Dahak commented as he looked down at what was happening.
"They couldn't see the grand design..."  
"Yami chose me...he made me his herald in this god-forsaken place... I broke the spirits of this rabble before...and I will do so again and again until they bow down before me!" Suddenly Dahak sees Kou jumping out of a window, then placing a card on his duel disk as Red Demon's Dragon is summoned underneath him.
"If they could only see how grand the power of darkness...what in Yami's name?" Dahak was broken out of his spoken thoughts by the appearance of the creature. Kou rided Red Demon's Dragon all the way to the main building, landing on the white roof between the purple and orange roofs.
"So Reika was right, you are here..." Kou commented as he got off the dragon.
"Reika...she was too weak to understand..." Dahak began, looking towards Kou.
"All of you are! Once I tear you apart, I will flood this Academia with darkness! I will spread Yami's will through this place like an infection, crushing all those in my way!" Kou gave Dahak a look of pity.
"Why Dahak? Why bring despair upon so many others? Are you just that much of a jerk?"
"Despair? Ha! I am merely a vessel...a herald of Yami's will! Once darkness overcomes light, only then will this world see how fruitless its petty struggles are! Nothing can defeat absolute Darkness!"
"Guess you're messed up in the head dude...time to end your cruel ideals." Kou commented as he activated his duel disk and black clouds crawled over the island. Dahak activated his duel disk.
"So be it! Let this be the duel of all darkness! The greatest Shadow Duel ever seen!" Lightning struck as the two shouted.
"Duel!" Kou drew.
"I'll start off."
"First I play one for one, sending Necro Gardna to the graveyard to special summon Stygian Security!" 600 Defense.
"Then summon Opticlops!" 1800 Attack.
"Now I tune them both for...Stygian Sergeants!" 2200 Attack.
"I'll set one card and end my turn..." Dahak drew his card.
"I've seen you duel every time...same could be said with your friends. You have no card I do not know and no tactic I cannot break! I'll start with this...Darkworld Dealings!" Kou draws, then sends Quillbolt Hedgehog to the grave. Dahak discarded Steelswarm Scout and drew another card.
"Next, since I have no creatures in play, I can special summon Steelswarm Cell in attack mode." 0 Attack.
"And now, let the infestation begin, for I sacrifice Steelswarm Cell to summon Steelswarm Moth!" 2400 Attack.
"Next, I pay the tribute of 1000 Life points to return both your Stygian Sargeants and your face-down card to your hand!" 3000 LP.
"Looks like I'll have to activate this now; Chain Material! By sending two Obsidians from my deck to the grave, I can fusion summon Obsidian Greater Dragon!" 3100 Defense. Stygian Sergeants however, is returned to the hand.
"A minor setback. I place two cards face-down and end my turn."
"My turn, draw, and since my dark monsters are protected from traps, Obsidian Greater Dragon isn't destroyed by chain material's effect. I summon Dark Resonator!" 1300 Attack. "And because I have a face-up tuner on my field, I can special summon Quillbolt Hedgehog!" 800 Attack.
"Now I play the magic card Reasoning, choose a level." Dahak looked at the tuner in play.
"Your probably trying a synchro, but nothing below level 4 will aid you." Kou flipped teh first card of his deck. "Nope, it's Kahkki, Guerilla of Dark World." 500 Defense.
"Now synchro summon...end the world's nightmare, synchro summon! Chaos King Archfiend!!!" 2600 Attack. Dahak looked unimpressed.
"Is that all you can muster? I don't see what makes you so fearsome."
"Since this tore me up before, I wanted to try it myself, magic card: Heavy Storm!" Heavy Storm took out Dahak's facedowns.
"Since you destroyed both face-down 'Statue of the Wicked' traps, you summoned two allowed me to gain two Wicked Idol tokens." 1000 Defense. Kou looked a bit worried but continued.
"Go Chaos King Archfiend, attack and activate your effect! Dream Eater!" 0 Attack. 400 LP
"Ugh...have to hold back..." Kou commented as he started to see rips in Dahak's clothing.
"Hmph. Lifepoints mean nothing." Dahak said, before noticing the tears on his clothes.
"Ugh...what kind of trickery is this?"
"Sorry...I almost forgot to hold myself back...otherwise Chaos King would've ripped you to pieces..." Dahak sneered.
"I will rip you to pieces myself! Keep your pity for the weaklings that serve you!" Kou looked down.
"I don't want to draw blood again like with Shinigami..." Kou raised his head again with a serious look.
"I'll bring piece without violence or discrimination, this is A.D.A.D.'s way!"
"This is what seperates the weak from the strong: the will to destroy your opponent! The power to claim what is rightfully yours! So, stop running your mouth and end your turn so I can tear you apart!"
"Turn end...peace and serenity lead to a calm mind...and that's what will win me this battle."
"Draw! I play Allure of Darkness...and for that, I will banish Steelswarm Genome!"
"I sacrifice my two Idols to summon Steelswarm Longhorn!" 3000 Attack. Kou looked up at the beast.
"Still you can't activate his effect."
"No matter. Longhorn, destroy Chaos King Archfiend!" Kou held his arms up in defense as Chaos King Archfiend is destroyed and a huge amount of force barely moves him across the roof. 3600 LP.
"I place one card face-down and end my turn." Kou drew his card as he grinned.
"First off I play Pot of Greed to draw two cards, then play Darkworld Lightning, discarding Broww, Huntsman of Dark World to destroy your facedown, and through Broww's effect, draw another card!"
"I activate the face-down...Threatening Roar! Just to be safe..."
"Now I play Pot of Avarice, returning Dark Resonator, Chaos King Archfiend,  Stygian Security, Opticlops and Broww back to my deck to draw two cards." Kou's raised an eyebrow. "You sure deck? Okay, I play Dimension Fusion! Paying 2000 Life points so I can bring back Bolt Hedgehog!" 800 Attack. 1600 LP.
"This means I can return Steelswarm Genome to my field, in defense mode!" 0 Defense.
"Then I do some tribute of my own, I tribute Quillbolt Hedgehog for Ambitious Gofer, now I activate his effect, targeting Longhorn, and since you have no cards in your hand, he's destroyed by default!" Dahak looks on as Longhorn is destroyed.
"Because of Threatening Roar I can't attack, so I end my turn here." Dahak drew his card.
"I play my own Pot of Greed."
"Next, since I have no spells or traps in play, Steelswarm Scout comes to the field!" 200 Attack.
"As Genome represents two Steelswarm tributes...I tribute all three of my creatures to summon the greatest force of darkness in the Steelswarm's army! Arise, Steelswarm Hercules!" 3200 Attack. Kou looks up as the titan rips it's way through the ground and onto the field.
"Awesome, 3200 Attack, and it can destroy all other cards right? That's what I expect from the leader of black Dorm."
"You won't be laughing once I destroy your field. By sacrificing half my lifepoints, I can blow away your field...and then...you will fade away into absolute darkness! Hercules! Now, Obliterating Infestation!" 200 LP. Kou raised his arms in defense again as the force of Hercules moved him across the roof. This time though Dahak was serious, so the force of Hercules managed to throw Kou to the floor. Dahak then looked at the field.
"Hercules, rip Kou's heart from his chest! Ominous Doom Claw!"
"Necro Gardna!" Kou shouted as the spirit of Necro Gardna flew from the graveyard, blocking Hercules' attack, but Necro Gardna's spirit eventually broke.
"I place this face-down...you will not live to see me turn your friends into empty husks, serving darkness until the end of their miserable lives! There's nothing but death for you!"
"I won't let...my friends' sacrifices go to waste..." Kou stated as he got up. Dahak looked at the last card in his hand. Kou placed his hand slowly onto his deck.
"...my...turn...draw! I play Roll of Fate! Depending on the roll...means how many cards I draw..." The hologram of a dice appears.
"Please...heart of the underdog...guide me..." A 4 is rolled.
"Yeah! I draw 4 cards!" Dahak grit his teeth.
"Don't you know your efforts are meaningless? No matter how many cards you draw, I will make sure nothing is left of you!"
"I play Double summon, first comes Mist Archfiend!" 2400 attack.
"Then I summon my second Dark Resonator...synchro summon, through victory comes power, power can lead to compassion...and compassion will bring forth the dragon of true power...synchro summon! Red Demon's Dragon!" 3000 Attack.
"That dragon is no match for Hercules...and will never face up against it, once I activate my Steelswarm Tool! By sending Steelswarm Caller from my deck to the grave, Steelswarm Hercules now possesses the might to challenge the Gods!" 4000 Attack. Kou just smiled.
"4000 Attack? Awesome monster dude, good thing to match my new monster against." Dahak frowned.
"Your what?"
"I play Worn Avenger, bringing Obsidian Greater Dragon back!" 1100 Attack. Kou threw a big grin at Dahak.
"You ready dude? You heard of Synchro Fusion right? Well this is the next big step." Dahak grit his teeth.
"What could he possibly be doing? There's no such monster that exists that could make a synchro fusion with such creatures..." Dahak thought as Kou raised his hand.
"I overlay my level 8 fusion monster and level 8 synchro monster, creating an overlay network..."
"An Exceed Summon..." Dahak noted.
"So you finally shown your true colors...as Black as the very darkness your deck is tainted with..."
"When a greater will wishes for all evil to be cleansed, a great creature will be born to grant it...exceed summon! Darkworld Jewel Dragon!" 2500 Attack. Suddenly a huge black dragon with red veins running through it, and two crysals sticking out of it's back, one dark purple and one crimson, suddenly emerged from the ground, magma flowing from it's enterance.
"What in Yami's name is...bah...no matter. It's still no match for Steelswarm Hercules."
"Darkworld Jewel Dragon's effect, by sending one material from it, I can send all cards on my opponent's side of the field back to it's owner's hand!" Suddenly the crimson crystal was released from the dragon, letting out a huge amount of red gas, making Hercules faint.
"What sort of devilry is this!?" Dahak shouted.
"There is no way such a creature could even exist!"
"And, every time it looses an exceed material, it's attack is doubled!" Suddenly a huge amount of red enrgy bursts from where the crystal was, seeming infinite. 5000 Attack. Dahak looked on with dread.
"This is impossible!" Kou pointed to Dahak.
"It's over Dahak, and so is the grip of terror you had on this Academia! Darkworld Jewel Dragon, direct attack! Demon's Ruby Hell Blast!!!" The creature charged at Dahak, the energy releasing from it's back giving it incredible speed and force.
"No! I won't let you take me! I am Yami's chosen! Nooooooooaaaaaaaargh!!!"  Dahak was pushed back with so much force that half the ceiling of the black roof blew off, with him on it. As Dahak fell, a heavy dark aura held him.
"Dahak...you failed...just as Shinigami did..." An ominous voice echoed in Dahak's mind.
"Master...ugh...I've done all you ask of me...just give me...one last chance..."
"Fool...you know that I can't allow for weakness within the darkness...you will never be remembered...you will never be great...and you will never be respected..." Suddenly Dahak began to dissipate as Shinigami did. Dahak looked down.
"I don't understand! I am your herald! Why are you doing this? Tell me!" The voice laughed slightly.
"You value yourself too much...since when did I ever call you my herald?"
"What...but I...Noooooooo!" Dahak's voice trailed in an echo before dissapearing completely.
