Yu-Gi-Oh: P.O.D: Part 32

At the juice bar, Kou and the others, including Etsuko are sat at the bar.
"Like I said, I've known him for years, you barely know him!" Etsuko shouted as Yuri, Tacey and XIa walked in.
"So what? I've dueled him, you haven't!" Lena shouted as she held Kou's left arm. Yu let out a heavy sigh.
"Jeez! You two better calm down. This ain't a tug-o-war!"
"Don't give them any ideas, please..." Kou commented. Tacey waved with her free arm.
"Hey!" Kou noticed the others and immediately jumped up, lena letting go of his arm.
"Oh Yuri, Mei-chan, Tacey, you alright?" Xia gave a quick nod.
"Y-yeah, we're fine." Yuri released his grip as best as he could and walked over to Kou.
"So...you're the guy Mei-Ling's been busting my ears about for the past two minutes, right?" Xia put her hands to her sides.
"Yuri!"
"Okay, okay! Look, I'm sorry if I've been a total jerk. Guess I wasn't thinking straight..." "Yeah, I'm Naruki, Kou. Nice to meet'cha, I've been hearing about you non-stop as-well." Kou replied, holding his hand out for a hand shake. Yu shook his head.
"Tell me about it. Do you know how much of a nutcase you sounded during that-Ow!" Tacey stopped Yu's question by stomping his foot. Yuri notices the colours on Kou's uniform. Yuri took hold of Kou's hand and gave a strong shake.
"Huh...got almost all the colors on that shirt. Classy."
"Kou-kun has exceed, fusion and synchro monsters, isn't he just amazing?" Etsuko asked. Xia then looked back at Yuri.
"Yeah, and that new card...Darkworld Jewel Dragon? That card actually beat Dahak!" Yuri looked surprised for a moment.
"Must be a pretty huge Dragon, then. So, what's it like? A fusion? Synchro? Some Darkworld deck card I never heard of?" Kou smiled.
"It's exceed..." Kou then took that card out from his extar deck then showed it.
"Synchro, Fusion Excced to be exact."
"Synchro...?" Lena asked.
"Fusion...?" Etsuko continued. "
Exceed?" Yuri finished as he examined the card, then frowned.
"I really hope you don't play that card often, or else you're gonna get some weirdos after you."
"You're one to talk." Yu stated as Tacey gave him a serious gaze, to which Yuri backed off.
"Hey, easy with the foot, Tace!" Lena walked over to get a look at the card.
"Can I see please Kou?"
"Uh, sure." Kou gave Lena the card as she looked at it.
"One level eight rock type fusion mosnter and one level eight dragon type synchro monster...2500 Attack...0 Defense..." Yu listened to the description.
"Okay...what the hell's with that weird summoning requirement? And how come the stats are so low?"
"Send one exceed material from this card to either; send all cards your opponent controls back to their hand, remove from play all cards in their graveyard or...send all cards in their hand back to their deck?" Lena continued. Tacey looked surprised.
"I guess with those effects, that's a good enough reason."
"Each time this card looses an exceed material it's attack is doubled..." Lena continued, her eyes widened.
"S-so it's attack goes up to..." Etsuko stuttered. Yuri let out a sigh.
"Five thousand. Only the Five-Headed Dragon and Dragon Master Knight are that high. I guess that explains why the requirements for that card or so damn specific."
"Actually it's 10,000, 2500 Doubled is 5000, but when it activates again it goes up to 10,000." Kou explained as he continued to smile. Everyone's jaw dropped as Kou looked around, confused.
"Um...you guys okay?" Yuri cringed, then let out a sigh.
"Yeah...like I said, you should definitely avoid playing that card often. I'm sure the Radiance would flip once they hear of something that powerful." Yu cocked an eyebrow.
"The what?" Lena shook her head before reading the last line.
"During the end phase this card has no exceed materials, it is destroyed." Kou took back the card as he looked back at Yuri.
"The Radiance? Sound tough, where are they?" Yuri looked back at his duel disk.
"You ever heard of a jerk named Bright? Big guy, white clothes, sounds like a preacher?"
"Dueled him, beat him, had a cool lightsworn deck." Kou replied.
"He also used 'Mischief of the Time Godess', but Kou took it away so he can't use it ever again." Etsuko added. Xia looked back at her deck uneasily. Yuri looked back at Kou.
"You shut that guy up? Ever since he beat me, he's been trying over and over to get me into that club. Anyways, the Radiance are a bunch of big shot duelists who go for everything that's Light-attribute and hate everything that isn't all shiny and holy and shit. Bunch of preachers and fanatics, I think. Those guys wanted me to join, because of...her..."
"Her?" Kou asked.
