It's finally been a year since Kou and the rest of A.D.A.D. took down Dahak, ferries are coming into the Academia, looking up at the new blue roofing on the building, Yu walks along the harbour just off the ferry. Yu changed a lot over the past year. Gone is the ponytail and camo-print pants; now, he has a buzz cut and wears straight-cut jeans, his sleeveless shirt showing under his open Academia coat. The biggest change would be in Yu's face; rather than a relaxed look, he seems overly focused, almost angry.
"Kinda wish this day'd never come." Yu said bitterly.
"H-hey! Yu-kun!" A familiar voice called over. Yu turned to see Etsuko, looking almost exactly as she did last year, in her Academia uniform already, waving over at Yu with a smile. Yu made a quick wave, as if not caring much for what was going on. "Hey." Yu replied flatly. Etsuko walked over with a rather cheery smile.
"I almost didn't recognise you with...well everything, did something happen over the year?"
"Yeah...way too much." Yu replied, folding his arms.
"Finally stood up to my dad. Wanna know what happened? He sent me to military school for the whole year! And all I've been hearing while I was there? Kou this, Kou that. You don't know how pissed off I am at him!" Etsuko gave Yu a cold stare.
"How is it Kou-kun's fault!?"
Tacey walked over to the two, looking gloomy and wearing a violet hoodie, keeping her hood up and head low, her duel disk still the same as before.
"Mister big-shot saves the day, gets all the damn credit, and even gets his face put on booster packs! Hell, we did our part in all this, and we got jack squat! And not just that-" Yu rants on, not noticing Tacey walk over to the two.
"Hey, you two..." tacey says, her tone heavy.
"-but he saved us you idiot!" Etsuko shouted, slapping Yu right in the jaw. Etsuko now seemed like she would rip out Yu's heart at any second as she grabbed his shirt.
"If it wasn't for Kou-kun...you'd be under Dahak's control whining like a little baby!"
"You think that makes him all high-and-mighty?" he replied, pushing back against Etsuko.
"All I've been getting was shit over the past eleven months, and he's been living the high life! Without us!"
"High and mighty? He's been saving other villages all year...from what I don't know, but didn't you watch the news!?" Yu let out a frustrated sigh.
"Forget it. You're just a fan-girl to him..."
"Alright alright what's going on here?" Another familiar voice came from behind Tacey.  Everyone turned to see Tsuko, who's ditched his cape for a purple tuxedo without a tie, he also somehow seems to have gotten taller.
"Tsuko-san, talk some sense into...oh Tacey I didn't see you there..." Etsuko stated. Tacey let out a faint sigh, but kept eeriely quiet. Xia ditched her Academia uniform for that of an Academia teacher; a which consists of a white shirt, knee-length black skirt and black high-heels. As she walked over to the group, they would notice that she looks professional, yet her facial expression is cold, almost somber.
"Ah, Xia-sama I've been looking all over for you." Tsuko stated, relieved.
"Can't say the same." Xia replied sharply.
"Do you know how much study it takes to get the teacher's permit in the Academia?"
"Um...well no Xia-sama, to be honest I've never even thought of being a teacher so..." Tsuko replied, very confused.
"You don't want to know." Xia continued.
"And I do not want to hear about Kou at all!"
"Awwww, just because I've talked about him all year?" Lena's voice came from behind Xia. Xia turned back towards Lena and gave her an icy stare.
"You weren't there when he left me because he didn't have the courage to take me up on the offer of teaching him how to swim!" Lena is wearing a purple sleeveless shirt, purple shorts and black canvas shoes with loose purple socks. Lena looked over at Yu and Tacey.
"...what's with you two?" Yu looked away.
"Ask Kou's fangirl." Yu replied flatly.
"Which one? He has thousands these days." Tsuko replied. Tacey barely looked at Lena, one hand on a crucifix she wore around her neck.
"By the way, how many of you guys passed the end of year exam? As you can see I'm a third year now so..." Etsuko looked down.
"I...didn't, but, I'll pass this year since we'll actually have a year!" Etsuko looked up again, enthusiasm booming in her voice. Tacey's tone was grim.
"I don't want to talk about it." Tsuko looked over at the ferries.
"Jack Ham passed...he was actually here this morning...he just smiled at the new orange dorm then headed for the pro leagues..."
Meanwhile, the freshmen were getting off one of the ferries.
"Hey, move it, out-of-the-way!" A balck student with purple stripes on his uniform and gelled back dark green hair demmanded as he bulldozed through a group of students. As the green-haired student pushed through, he didn't notice the scowl on the face of a black-haired student, dressed in a light blue t-shirt under a white uniform coat with an orange stripe on one arm, a black one on the other. The boy was wearing faded black jeans and white sneakers and was holding a heavy backpack with both hands, an almost silvery duel disk partially showing out of it.
"Freakin' idiot..." The boy said under his breath, as he looked at the hurried freshman with deep, dark brown eyes.
In another ferry, one of the female students was taking her time to walk down to the docks. Her ink-black hair would have rode down the long of her back, had it not been hidden in a black hoodie that was partially hidden by a black uniform coat with white straps. She wore a knee-length, dark-green skirt and black chuck taylors, a pentagram painted on the sides, which also appeared on her duel disk.
"Of all the places...why did they send me here?" The student murmured, looking at her oddly-shaped disk. Had it not been for the strange runic symbols and gold and silver decorations, it would look like she was holding a wide blade strapped to her arm rather than a duel disk.
Suddenly a helicopter flew overhead, the symbol of a blue rose crossing with a silver sword on both sides. The helicopter landed on the roof of the academia, a girl wearing a short sleeved white blouse, red vest, knee-length black shirt, white stockings and black mary-janes with long dark red hair held back with a black hair band got out of the helicopter looking out at the ocean.
"...he best be here..." But the thing that definitely got the attention of everyone outside on the lisalnd was-
"GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAGRGHHHH!!!"
"I'd know that dragon's roar anywhere!" Lena excalimed in excitement.
"Whoa...no way..." The green haired student said in awe. Yu closed his eyes, while Xia gave an icy glare towards the ocean. Tacey stayed quiet, as if lost in thought. The brown-eyed student looked skyward.
"Great...like a bit old target. How vain is this guy supposed to be?" The long-haired girl looked skyward with cobalt blue eyes.
"Darkness...this dragon reeks of it." The red haired girl gazed out as the image of a dragon is reflected in her eyes.
"So...you ARE here..."
It's been a year and...da fug?
