Yu-Gi-Oh: P.O.D: Part 46

"U-um I think I may just want to talk to Naruki-kun face-to-face...but thank you for...listening and...helping...I'm still surprised that someone else wanted to talk to me..." Megumi stated as she got up.
    Tacey got up as well. "Glad I could help. It's nice to talk to someone aside from Xia-san, Etsuko-chan and the guys at ADAD. It's refreshing, really."
    Megumi nodded as she looked around. "Um...where would Naruki-kun be...and also, what is your name?"
    "I forgot to introduce myself? Oh, sorry. I'm Tacey. Tacey White." Tacey said, holding out her hand.
    Megumi looked confusingly at Tacey's hand before Tacey's phone suddenly rang.
    "Huh? Oh, sorry." Tacey said before taking out her phone, looking at it. "Huh? Lena?" Tacey flipped the phone open. "Hello?"
"Ah, Tacey! Have you seen Kou?" Lena asked on the other end.
    Tacey looked a bit uneasy. "Um...not really, why? What's up?"
    "I just want to see my Kou, what's wrong with that...huh?" Some whispering could be heard on the other end. "Huh? He's at the black dorm with a guy with green hair? Good job! Bye Tacey, thanks again!"
    "Hey, wait-"
    Lena cut Tacey off.
    Megumi looked confused. "...'my'...Kou?"  
    Tacey let out a sigh. "That was Lena, Xia-san's older sister. She's...let's say she's a big fan of Kou and leave it there...but anyways, I think we should go find him. Still...she did say he was at the Black dorm, so we should probably look over there."
    Megumi nodded. "O-okay..."
    Meanwhile over at the black dorm, Kou and Nanjo are just leaving.
    "Man...I gotta admit senpai, you have some connections..." Nanjo commented as Kou rubbed the back of his head.
    "Yeah...anyway I wanna find Mei-chan-"
    "Kou!" Lena's voice suddenly called over.
    "Oh man..." Kou groaned, Nanjo looking confused.
    "Huh? Another crazy fan?" Nanjo asked as Lena ran over.
    "U-um, actually she's Mei-chan's sister." Kou answered before Lena glomped him.
    "Kou, I'm sorry I haven't seen you much today, I had to un-pack...still do you like what I'm wearing?" Lena asked, lifting one leg upbackwards, showing off her legs in her shorts.
    "Senpai you lucky bastard..." Nanjo commented as he went red, staring at Lena.
   Tacey ran up to the group. "Hey, what's-uh oh..." Tacey stuttered, noticing Lena.
    Megumi ran up behind Tacey as Lena let go to wave at Tacey. "What? What is it? Is Naruki-kun okay?" Megumi asked, glancing over at Lena. "...and who's the tramp?"
    Tacey looked discouraged. "That...is Lena..."
    Tacey and Megumi walked over, Megumi giving Lena a rather fierce yet confused look.    
    "Oh, Megumi-chan, Tacey, what's up?" Kou asked.
    "N-Naruki-kun! I mean, Naruki, Kou...um..." Megumi stuttered.  
    "I'd like to know that myself. I got called by Lena..." Tacey replied to Kou's question.
    "I didn't ask you to come here, I asked you where Kou was...and I found him." Lena retorted before giving Kou a look of affection.
    Megumi's gaze on Lena now became completely feirce. "This girl is troublesome..."
    "Oh great..." Tacey commented, looking at Megumi, then at Lena.
    Kou's eyes widened before looking at Lena. "Oh hey Lena, do you know where your sister is?"
    Lena tapped her cheek in thought. "Hmmmm...I guess right now she'll be at the staffroom."
    "I think I'll go check up on her. Hmmm...maybe I should call Yu and see how they are doing, too..."
    Tacey took out her phone and dialled Yu's cell phone while Kou walked over to Megumi.
    "Hey Megumi, I noticed the Imperial Knight there...it's damaged right?"
    Megumi gasped. "What? Um...yes...I apologise..."
    Kou smiled. "Don't worry, I'll get you some more copies, but right now I need to free Mei-chan's mind from whatever's controllingh her."
    Lena looked confsued. "Sister is being controlled?"
    As Kou explained to Lena about what Seb told them, Yu picked up on the other end of Tacey's phone.
    "Hey, Tace!" Yu answered through background noise.
    Tacey plugged one ear to try and listen better. "Yu, I can barely hear you. Where are you?"
    "Down at the juice bar at White Dorm. Seb banged his knee, so we couldn't catch up. Where're you at?"
    Tacey let out a sigh. "We're at the Black dorm. Any luck finding Kary?"
    "Nope. Most students don't even know her. Has she always been that elusive?"
    Tacey took a moment to ease herself. "Well-"
    "Look, I'd like to talk, but I can barely hear you. Sounds like someone started a duel over here!"
    "Yu, hold on a-"
    As Tacey was cut off, she closed her phone and let out a frustrated sigh. "Urgh...talk about lousy timing."
    Kou walked over. "So what's happening with Yu and Seb?"
    Tacey shook her head. "Seb got hurt chasing after me and Megumi-san. He said they were at the juice bar at the White Dorm...and I had trouble hearing them. Sounded like there was a huge crowd, and someone was dueling." Tacey sighed. "And I don't have a clue where Kary is."
    Kou grew an excited grin. "Whoa, must be one heck of a duel, let's get over there!"
    Meanwhile at the juice bar where Yu and Seb are.
    "Magical Erudite Junon, attack Zombie Master! Arcane Magic Attack!"
    The orange student was knocked back from the blast of the attack as his lifepoints dropped to 0.
    Seb let out a heavy sigh. "Whoa..."
    Yu looked back at the orange duelist. "No kidding. That's as close to an one-turn-kill as you can get!"
    The black student deactivated her duel disk. "I expected more from you and your deck." The student looked fiercely at the crowd. "Anyone else?"
    Seb tried peaking over the crowd. "Ugh...I can barely see anything!"
    Yu looked back at Seb. "Let me help you up. If we can get close, we'll get a better view."
    The black student looked around the room. "Anyone? If no one will step up, I will start picking!" The student stated, though the last part of the sentence was badly-worded in Japanese.
    As Seb and Yu finally made their way to the front, the black student's gaze turned to them. "Hmmm...looks like we have a challenger."
    When Seb looked at the black student from a closer view, he grew shocked. "Uh...Yu? You might want to call that girl friend of yours."
    Yu looked back at Yu. "Why's that?"
    Seb took a quick look at the duelist. "Black hair, black uniform with white stripes...does that ring a bell?"
    Yu's eyes widened. "Uh...hold that thought..." Yu stated, pulling out his phone, speed-dialling Tacey's number.
    Tacey noticed her phone was ringing again as the group made it to the White dorm. "Hey, Yu. What's up? How'd that duel go?"
    "Uh...yeah. It was great. You remember that girl you had us chase around?"
    Tacey looked shocked. "Kary? Did you find her?"
    As Tacey concentrated on her phone call, Kou went into the white dorm, followed by Nanjo, Lena and Megumi.
    The black student looked at Seb. "How about you? You think you can stand against me better than you could stand?"
    "Hey! Yu! Seb!" Kou called over.
    Yu turned around, phone in hand, while Seb looked down at his knee, then at his disk.
    "Y-yeah, Kou just showed up. Come on over...oh and, um...you might not like it."
    Kary frowned as she noticed Kou, then turned back to look at Seb. "So, what'll it be? Can you duel, or do you want your bodyguards to do it for you?"
    Seb activated his duel disk, but cringed at the pain from his knee. "Damnit..."
    Kou activated his duel disk. "Hey, I'll take you on if you're looking for a good duel."
    Kary looked at Seb, then at Kou. "She told me you would show up. I'm sure she's watching right now, hoping to see her boyfriend in action."
    Yu looked confused. "Hang on...who's she talking about?"
    "Huh? I guess some girl wants to see her boyfriend duel me or something...fine by me." Kou commented.
    Megumi gave Kary a cold stare. "Whoever you have stalking Naruki-kun, tell me now or face the consequences."
    Lena sighed. "That or a hopeless and delusional girl thinks that Kou has feelings for her."
    Kary grabbed a card from her duel box and threw it over to Kou. "Take a look."
    "Hmmmm?" Kou looked at the card. "C-Candy Girl? This is Etsuko's card! What did you do with Etsuko!?" Kou demanded, clenching a fist.
    "Et...tsuko?" Megumi asked as Tacey walked in.
    "Another one of Kou's fan girls, the most delusional in my opinion." Lena replied.
    Kary shrugged. "Me? I did nothing. I can even tell you where she is, that is, if you face me..."
    Tacey could barely hear Kary's voice over that of the crowd. "Huh?"
    Kou gave Etsuko's card a look of worry before putting it in his pocket, then folding his arms. "Alright...I guess you also have conditions on who loses and who wins?"
    "Certainly. Win, I tell you where she is. Lose...she stays with us." Tacey answers, flashing at Kou an icy stare with her deep, black eyes.
    Yu looked back at Kary for a moment. "Huh? Didn't Tacey said she had green eyes?"
    Kou cringes as Megumi steps forward. "Tch, as if I'd let you face someone of Naruki-kun's level, you'll have to-"
    Suddenly Kou put his hand in front of Megumi, giving her a wry smile. "Sorry Megumi-chan, but in this kinda situation, we have to do as she asks..."
    "Naruki-kun..."
    "Trust me, even without Baal I can handle myself." Kou added before walking to where he would be opposite Kary. "...alright, let's do this."
    Kary pulled out a large card from a pack in her pocket, looked at it, then put it away. "Let the duel begin!"
    Tacey arrived just as the two shouted.
    "Duel!"
